Do you believe that all seniors want to be healthy? Yes! Here are some tips for seniors to stay healthy.

These tips should not be too difficult to do. I am going to give you information on how to make these changes.

Eating well can help you maintain good health as you get older.
This is a good time to cut back on fatty foods and processed food, decrease your salt intake, add lean meats, seafood fish, and nuts to your grocery list, add more vegetables and fruits to your diet.

By adding more vegetables and fruits to your diet you will have fewer health problems, good food can delay many diseases that come with aging.

You can eat well without buying costly health foods. Just buy food that gives you the most nutrition.

Be sure to stay hydrated, mainly with water, 100% juice can help keep you hydrated, but not as well as water.

Try and avoid beverages that have lots of add sugars. Alcohol should be limited to two drinks daily for men and one drink daily for women.

When I say be active, that just don’t mean doing exercises, like walking, strength training etc.

I am subjecting challenging stuff like gardening, learning to use a computer, texting, and using Facebook. Planning annual trips with family or friends, are also a great way to state healthy and active.

Tip. 3 Get a Regular Check Up
Schule, an appointment with your doctor to have a regular check up, it is vital to your health it can find health problems before they become serious.

And if the ailment is caught early enough, then treatment can be more effective.

Exams and test you need depend on your age. Make a list of question and your medications to take with you.

If you have Medicare get your wellness check up every year. This examination will include a variety of test, depending on your age and sex.
This check up could include a Blood test, Urine, Vision, and Hearing.

Tip. 4 Quit Smoking
Do you know that smoking is the leading cause of preventable death in this country.

In order to quit smoking, you have to really want to. Smoking is a physical addiction and a psychological habit.
